Book worm

T has been into books from a very young age and is still a big reader – not a common habit amongst his peers, some of whom don’t ever pick up a book unless they absolutely have to. Last year he signed up for the 52 Books challenge at school and committed himself to reading a book a week. He hasn’t mentioned much about it and I hate to admit that it had slipped my mind, as he’s always reading!

So, whilst catching up on the latest e-newsletter from school I was thrilled to see his name listed in the roll call of pupils who had completed the challenge. He was one of only 3 boys in the list of 24 children (out of the whole school) who had read the required number. Great stuff. And he’s signed up again for 2015. I can see some more lovely visits to 66 Book Club on the cards!
